University Museums tackling the Climate Emergency

On Tuesday, 29th November, the University Museums Group hosted a Networking Event featuring presentations of case studies on the theme, “University Museums and Climate & Ecological Emergency Breakdown”. Speakers from a range of University Museums explained what they are doing to address the issues surrounding climate action.

Speakers included Ellena Grillo and Kelly Richards (University of Oxford);Evie Crouch and Matt Hayes (University of Cambridge) Sylvia Kluczewski (UCL) and Hannah Hartley (Manchester Museum)

Emma Shaw, Preventive Conservation Officer at MoDA presented an outline of the DREEMS project, making clear the conservation rationale.
