The Crown Wallpaper Magazine' was published by the Wall Paper Manufacturers Limited (WPM) and features industry advertisements, articles and information. It was previously published under the title The Wallpaper Magazine. The WPM was founded in 1899 when many wallpaper manufacturers in the North of England amalgamated to form a 'combine'. Gradually more wallpaper factories came within the WPM and by the 1920s they held over 90% of the wallpaper market. The common brand of the WPM was 'Crown'.
