Katagami stencil with a design of scattered floral sprays and roundels. Tie bars are used to hold the stencil structure, these would be covered over by paste applied through a second stencil (K2.75) so would not appear on the printed textile. This is the primary stencil with most of the detail. This stencil is of the sansun okuri or koban size class (determined by the repeat length).
