More details

Katagami stencil depicting trailing vegetation surrounded by roundels containing small flowers and auspicious patterning - shippō (overlapping circles) representing the Seven Treasures and seigaiha (waves from the blue ocean) associated with a wish for calm days ahead. The design includes irregular breaks across its surface. This stencil forms a pair with K2.76. By overlaying the two designs and applying the resist paste through both, supporting tie bars would be hidden and detail could be added. This stencil is of the koban size class (determined by the repeat length).
