Katagami stencil with an all-over pattern of stylised hemp leaves (asa no ha ) - six diamonds around a point. The hemp leaf pattern is associated with growing up strongly so was a popular motif on babies' clothes. Diagonal lines possibly of willow fronds run across the stencil. Individual cells are filled with perpendicular and rhombic interweaving patterns. This stencil is of the koban size class (determined by the repeat length).
