Katagami stencil with a naturalistic depiction of a flowering stems, possibly water dropwort, one of the Spring Flowers. Tie bars are used to hold the stencil structure, these would be covered over by paste applied through another stencil (K2.82) so would not appear on the printed textile. This is the secondary stencil with less detail than the primary. This stencil is of the koban size class (determined by the repeat length).
