This is a nursery 'Sanitary' wallpaper by Lightbown Apinall from around 1895. It has a pattern of detached tableaux featuring people, children and animals carrying vegetables, laundry, milk, fish etc. Each tableau has a title in both French and English and the colours are subdued.
