Japanese fans, chrysanthemums, roundels, fretwork

A wallpaper probably intended for use as a dado paper from around 1890. This paper is an example of cheap 'Aesthetic Movement' wallpapers with a crowded pattern of Japanese motifs - fans, chrysanthemums, roundels, fretwork etc., in predominately aesthetic colours of olive green, grey, red and yellow. This design is likely inspired by the work of aesthetic movement designers such as Bruce Talbert.
