More details

This block-printed linen textile is from about 1930. The design features a large, bold ‘Jacobean’ pattern. ‘Jacobean’ designs took inspiration from a variety of historical periods but were faithful to none. Nostalgic patterns such as this were popular with British consumers who were seeking a more traditional look for their homes in the 1930s.
