This screen-printed chintz textile was designed by Frank Price in 1953. This chintz pattern incorporates roses, dahlias, forgot-me-nots, daisies and jasmine in bunches and garlands of flowers. Most chintz fabrics feature floral patterns printed on light fabric but here the motifs are printed on a black background.
