More details
This unglazed roller-printed cotton chintz was produced in about 1910.
This chintz design uses large, naturalistic hydrangeas and flowering lilacs to create a dense repeating pattern. Patterns such as this offered British consumers an alternative to the stylised art nouveau patterns that were increasingly popular in the early twentieth century.
