Stencilled Fabric

A stencilled cushion / napkin panel with a floral design made up of four mirrored repeats. It shows a mixture of Art Nouveau floral stylisation and Adam style motifs with briar roses and stylised wreaths. The design is by the Silver Studio and was sold to William Foxton Esquire of 1 Paternoster Square, London, on December 21st 1907, for £7 and 7 shillings.
