This roller-printed cotton was designed by Madeleine Lawrence for the Silver Studio in about 1932. It was sold by the fashionable London-based retailer Liberty & Co Ltd. The Silver Studio produced a number of printed dress cotton designs similar to this for Liberty & Co Ltd in the late 1920s and early 1930s.
