More details

A jacquard woven silk textile from around 1905. It has not been possible to trace this textile in the Silver Studio record photographs. It is probably by Leborgne and sent as a sample to the Silver Studio. The pattern is made up of vertical strips, containing different late eighteenth century flower motifs (roses, ribbons, paisley forms, etc) in pale greens and gold with some red and ochre.
