A sample of crepe fabric with a 1920s French Modernist design used for a Liberty & Co. Ltd dress fabric around 1930. The sample has a design of large open poppy-like flower heads in reds, blues and beige, fine meandering stems, feather-like petals and leaves and dotted overlay petals and leaves. The ground is black with small confetti patterning and zig zags in reds, blues and beige.
