Stained glass curving leaves

This wallpaper was produced by the Silver Studio for Glasgow-based manufacturer Wylie and Lochead in 1897. The curving, stylised flowers and leaves of the pattern have been designed to imitate stained glass. The design was used for hardwearing sanitary wallpaper that would have decorated bathrooms and kitchens in the late nineteenth century.
