Peter Pan fights Captain Hook

This is a design for a nursery printed cretonne by Winifred Mold for the Silver Studio in 1932. The design features a scene from Peter Pan. The scene is set on board a ship and Captain Hook is taking a swipe at Peter Pan in view of another two children watching from behind the mast. The design on tracing paper is finely drawn, in much detail, in brown. The pencil and watercolour matching image on the underlying tracing paper is much simpler in detail but painted in blue, beige/peach, mustard yellow, brown and pink that shows through onto the more detailed tracing paper to give a lightly coloured effect.
