Peter Pan

This is a design for a nursery printed cretonne by Winifred Mold for the Silver Studio in 1932. The design features a scene from Peter Pan. In the centre of the design Peter Pan, dressed in red, is standing on a blue/green island and looking out to sea at a red/brown ship in the distance. Wendy, dressed in pink, is sat beside him and a mermaid is swimming in the waters close by. In the bottom left hand corner three Native Americans with green edged headresses are crouching on a patch of grass. In the bottom right hand corner Captain Hook and a pirate are visible, in black, blue, red and white.
