More details
A daintily painted design for either a textile or a wallpaper, featuring poppies in a basket, ribbon trails and rose sprays by Henry William Batley in around 1895. This design is similar in style and execution to another design in the MoDA collection (SD11562). This design has been attributed to Batley who was previous employer of Arthur Silver who later probably sold designs through the Silver Studio.
