‘Handprinted Wallpapers’

These hand-printed wallpapers were produced by London-based manufacturer Shand Kydd Ltd in about 1955. The designs of these papers include both traditional, historically inspired patterns and abstract, contemporary ones and in most cases, the designers are credited. These wallpapers are shown with co-ordinating papers and advice about how consumers could use them in a room.
