More details
A monthly publication aimed at the amateur carpenter, featuring a mix of designs for readers to follow (eg. 'Make Your Own Trailer Caravan'), plus some short articles. At some point in the 1930s, the title was shortened from The Woodworker to simply Woodworker. Except for the graphic style of some illustrations, the appearance as well as the content of this magazine alters very little from the early 1930s through to the mid-1950s.
