The Faber guide to twentieth-century architecture

This book cover features cut-out sections, allowing a peek on to the first page of the book. With improvements in printing and publishing techniques in the 1980s, designers could get more adventurous and envisage ideas like this in their plans. This black and white cover also uses technical symbols down the side, making it look like a specialist architectural work book, rather than a general coffee table book.
