Brown colour lithograph, title to top left 'IN HONOR'S CAUSE / Song.' Image below of a man in period clothing of a cloak, shirt with slits to arms, knee high boots and a hat with feathers. Facing to the left he is blowing upon a musical instrument upon which is hung a royal standard. Immediately behind him are flags, a drum and gloves. In the background is a country scene of haystacks and trees with a single man standing with a rifle. Lower left corner has a separate small illustrated scene, showing a battle, with one man on the ground. With composer and publisher details printed below. Muscial score on verso.
