Colour lithograph music sheet cover titled 'The Messenger of Love'. Composed by Charles Coote Junior and published by Hopwood & Crew. London. Possibly circa 1860. Lithograph with red and gold text 'THE / MESSENGER / OF LOVE'. With colour image of dark and light clouds. A cherub, with a red cloth flowing at waist level, is depicted in profile to the left side. His arms are outstretched, holding red reins, to the other end of which are two flying doves. Text below 'WALTZ / BY / CHAS COOTE, JUNR.'
