Reproduced in John Bull publication on 6 January 1855. Taken from the John Bull and published by Addison & Hollier circa 1855. Double-sided sheet of paper produced by letterpress. Recto has a border finished with decorative scrolls to corners. Within is an image of the Royal coat of arms and text 'THE QUEEN'S LETTER' with publisher's details below. Verso has an extract of a letter written by Queen Victoria expressing concern about troops in the Crimean War. With an additional copy of the extract in the form of a photocopy.
