More details

Black and white reproduction on one sheet of paper of two music sheet covers, orignal lithographs by Alfred Concanen, circa 1866. Reproduction circa 1978. First cover has title at the top 'AINT YOU SORRY YOU DRESS'D YOURSELF'. Shows a man in Victorian coat tails and top hat looking aghast with his hands up, as a street boy in patched clothes, does a handstand immediately in front of him, leaving a bare footprint upon the man's waistcoat. In the background is a music shop with a man standing at the doorway watching. Second cover is titled 'THE RAILWAY GUARD/ OR THE MAIL TRAIN TO TEH NORTH', with a dedication to the directors of the London & North Western railway. Composed by Gaston Murray and Alfred Plumpton in 1866, sung by Alfred Lloyd. Shows a railway guard standing on a platform with a train to Ruby behind him, showing a seated woman. Lower end has a few lyrics printed. Verso has two further reproduced music covers.
