Surgical observations on the constitutional origin and treatment of local diseases: and on aneurisms

This is a 1822 publication by the English Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, John Abernethy. First published in 1809, and known as 'My Book', 'Surgical observations' was one of the earliest popular works on medical science. It has a handwritten note about the owner and a leaflet on the inside cover. This publication is part of the reference collecton of the graphic designer Charles Hasler.
