Napkin and Fruit

'Napkin and Fruit' wallpaper sample, designed by Edward Bawden and produced by The Curwen Press, 1926. Bawden experimented with wallpaper designs, and tried cutting designs into lino and printing them onto sheets. This design is one of several produced in lithograph by Curwen Press and printed in sheets.These became known as the Plaistow Wallpapers, as Curwen's press was based at Plaistow Place, London.
