Illustrated book titled 'Beautiful Butterflies of the Tropics: How to Collect Them' written and illustrated by Arthur Twidle in 1920. The book is concerned with the practise of collecting exotic butterflies and moths. Illustrated with both black and white diagrams and several full-page colour studies depicting different varieties of butterflies and moths. Between the pages of the book is housed a real, pressed butterfly on a padded board with a decorative piece of fern. Arthur Twidle also illustrated for Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes books.
