Candlewick embroidery carried out with Strutt’s candlewick cotton

This is a booklet released in around the 1950s with information on the art of candlewick embroidery, using Strutt's candlewick cotton. Candlewick embroidery is a type of needlework which uses heavy thread on heavier-weight cotton or linen with a particular kind of surface knot known as a 'colonial knot'.
