WPM: The Pattern of a Great Organisation

This eye-catching cover is created by using a company logo to make a pattern. The book dates from 1949 and shows optimism through colour and design to fight the post-war gloom. As a trade book, it would mainly have been seen by clients and prospective purchasers, but the company and the designer have still stuck their necks out with a bold, innovative design. Despite their limited audience, trade journals have to be well designed too.
