This jacquard-woven cotton textile was produced by manufacturer Cepea Fabrics Ltd in about 1955 as part of their ‘Homecraft’ range of products. The pattern features stylised plants and flowers rendered in the spiky, calligraphic style typical of ‘contemporary’ 1950s designs.
