More details

This tile was designed by Eleanor Greeves in the 1970s. During the 1970s there was a revival of interest in arts and crafts in the home. Nostalgic patterns such as this one were inspired by designers such as William Morris from the early 20th century. Tiles such as this would have been used in kitchens and bathrooms. In kitchens, they were often interspersed with plain tiles around stoves or along splash backs.
