On this website you’ll find around 1000 records from MoDA’s collections database. But not everything that is in our museum catalogue is available online. This is because we want to ensure that all records that we make public have a good quality image and a well-written caption. This website is intended as a representative sample of what we have in the collections.
If you are interested in finding out about objects which you think we might have but which you can’t find on this website please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
We are also interested in what it means to make museum collections available online elsewhere on the web. Over the years we have been involved in various partnership projects aimed at exploring and improving best practice in this area.
