These two sketches for Barbour furnishing textile designs were by Arthur Silver for the Silver Studio in 1892. They are based on iris flowers and leaves and are yet another instance of Oriental art influencing Silver's designs. The image shows one of the designs which is in terracotta and olive green. The other is in ochre and blue/green.
