Holly and Gazelles

This is a design for a printed textile by Harold C. Bareham for the Silver Studio in 1944. The Christmas themed design features gazelles amongst bunches of holly leaves and berries, in brown, red and green. The design was part of a series of work produced at this time that featured these gazelles (see for example SD13494), perhaps explaining why Bareham used gazelles in this design rather than deer.
