This wallpaper was produced in about 1950 for Wall Paper Manufacturers Ltd. It was part of the Lancastria range, which was specifically designed for export to the USA. Lancastria wallpapers used bright colours in bold patterns. This design uses a Chinese-influenced floral chintz pattern.
