‘Impasto’ wallpaper in grey and white on yellow colourway

In 1957 Audrey Levy won a 'Design of the Year' award from the Council of Industrial design for this wallpaper design, she won a second award the following year for a very different design (PO2.31). Palladio designs were held in high regard and received many awards and much critical acclaim, however, despite this they were never a commercial success.
