Lithograph music cover sheet titled 'Prince Imperial Galop'. Composed by Charles Coote Junior, published by Joseph Williams. Circa 1879. The Prince Imperial refers to the only son of Napolean III, named Napolean Bonaparte. He died fighting for the British in the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879. Lithograph has text to the top 'PRINCE IMPERIAL'. With image below showing a three quarter length view of the Prince Imperial, standing slightly to his right. Dressed in a military double breasted coat with decorated high collar and shoulder epaulettes, a cumberband to the waist, sash across his body and the hilt of a sword visible to his side. Text lower end 'GALOP, / BY / CHARLES COOTE JUNR.'
