Lithograph for music sheet cover titled 'Havelock's Indian March'. Composed by Stephen Glover. Published by Charles Jefferys. London. Circa 1873. Henry Havelock [1795-1857] was a British general who recaptured Cawnpore during the Indian Mutiny of 1857. He died of dysentry during the seige of Lucknow during the mutiny. Litthograph with title at the top. Image below, with beige background. Shows a three-quarter length view of Havelock, standing with his face turned to his left. He is dressed in a three-quarter length double breasted coat with a sash around his body. In one arm he holds a hat with feathers and in the other a sword. Composer and publisher information below.
