Reproduced colour reprographic music sheet cover titled 'The Boulevards Quadrille'. Lithograph by Thomas Packer. Composed by Louis De Ville. Originally printed by Stannard & Dixon, London, circa 1872. Depicts title at the top with colour illustration below of a street scene in France. Left side shows buildings with shuttered windows, balconies and canopies. A wide pavement upon which is a crowd of people seated and standing, many of the men in military outfits. To the right is a wide road with military men and a horse and carriage visible. Printed below is the composer's name and the name of a London based piano makers firm, Metzler & Co.
