Title in black at the top. With colour illustration below showing the aftermath of a battle. To the foreground is a small pond, the other side of which lies a man in a red coat, with one arm pressed to his heart. Next to him is a bare tree and a broken machine gun. Behind him is a soldier sitting with his head in his hands, further beyond lie dead bodies across the landscape, with a view of a bridge in the distance. Below is printed 'ARRANGED FOR THE PIANOFORTE, / BY / CARL LUINI'. With publisher information. Verso has the first page of the musical score.
