This wallpaper was designed by Graham Sutherland in 1945 for Cole and Son Ltd. It features an abstract pattern in white on a lime green background. It was exhibited at the Festival of Britain in 1951. This particular sample originally belonged to architect Sir Anthony Cox who chose this wallpaper to be used in a school he was working on at that time. It appeared on the cover of Architectural Review magazine in July 1945, and also featured in the Britain Can Make It exhibition in 1946.
