WEMCO RANGE

This is one of a five-sample set of chevron ribbed fabrics by Wemco of England in 1955. They all have the same repeat design of Chinese figures with lanterns. The four colour-ways are green, pink and yellow lanterns with blue figures; blue, green and yellow lanterns with pink figures; pink, yellow and toffee-coloured lanterns with green figures; blue, pink and yellow lanterns with dark blue figures; all on a white background. The set is bound with grey-coloured card, folded double to enclose the five samples.
