This housing booklet advertises homes on Enfield Town Estate for W Goodchild & Co, and was published in about 1935. The booklet aimed to sell Enfield Town Estate houses to ‘discerning people who prefer a short journey to London and natural surroundings of great beauty to a crowded city.’ It detailed the cost of travel into London by bus, tram, coach and train in an attempt to encourage city dwellers to move to the suburbs.
