Some of these books were originally part of the Silver Studio Collection. They were acquired as a resource for designers. Others have been collected over the years since the formation of the museum. They are now part of the Domestic Design Collection, which covers many aspects of the design and decoration of the ‘ordinary’ home.
Many of our books are interesting for their design, illustration and typography, as well as their contents.
